What is the Harvard Imagine the Future Gala?
The Harvard Imagine the Future Gala an adults-only themed fundraiser for Harvard Elementary PTA that all Harvard parents, teachers, staff, and supporters are invited to attend. We promise a fun evening with curated restaurant food and drinks, beautiful décor, and a chance to win exciting auction items in the silent and live auction. The auction fundraiser is the PTA’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and is only a success with your support and generosity!
The 2023-24 school year is the 125th year Harvard Elementary School has been open, making it the oldest school in Houston that has been continually in operation. For our gala this year, we would like to imagine the future. Our big goal this year is a new playground for Harvard Park. Your donations, sponsorships, and attendance allow us to be successful!
How do I attend?
Tickets to the event go on sale on our auction site a few weeks prior to the date. It will be widely publicized. Tickets are ON SALE NOW!
What is included?
Each ticket includes delicious food and drinks from local restaurants, entertainment, mingling with the Harvard community, live music, dancing, and a chance to bid in our exciting live auction!
If I don’t buy a VIP table, will I have a place to sit?
Yes! Only some tables are reserved for VIP. We always have seating available for everyone - tables, cocktail tables, and outdoor lounge seating. VIP tables are designated with “RESERVED” signs.
Where are my tickets? Do I need to print them?
No need to print or bring anything! They are in your account on the auction website.
What should I wear?
Our theme this year is imagining the future, so come dressed in your futuristic best! Most everyone dresses up. We encourage creativity and love a good themed outfit.
Where is the event?
This year’s gala is at the NEW Garage HTX, located at 1201 Oliver St. Houston 77007. Parking is available. Please do not drink and drive.

What if I can’t make the event?
We will definitely miss you! But! You can still bid in the online silent auction from the comfort of wherever you are!
What is the auction?
The silent auction is a two-week, online auction full of exciting items, donations from local businesses, and unique experiences. You can also purchase tickets to socials, as well as activities for your students’ class, and so much more!
The live auction, on the night of the gala, is where we auction off the best items… a lot of things that money can’t buy. The list changes every year, and you don’t want to miss the bidding!
What is a social?
A social is an exclusive party or event planned and sponsored by a Harvard family or teacher(s). They almost always sell out, some within minutes! After the main auction, we do sell more tickets to some of the socials, but it’s still best to buy early!
Can I donate something to the auction or host a social?

How do I register to bid?
Once you go to our auction site, go to “SIGN IN” in the upper right to register! We recommend registering and adding your credit card info before the auction begins for faster bidding!
