What is a Social?
It’s another word for a party!
A social is an exclusive party or event planned and sponsored by Harvard family(s) or teacher(s) with tickets sold during the auction. They almost always sell out, some within minutes!
100% of the proceeds go to Harvard Elementary.

This sounds so fun! What’s next?
Anyone can host a social - you choose the time, place, number and type of attendees (“adults,” “3rd graders", “kinder families,” etc.), and ticket price. Socials generally occur post-auction through summer and fall. Once submitted and approved, the social will then be placed on our auction website. The socials will be advertised on the auction website, but feel free to encourage your friends and acquaintances to purchase tickets to them! Once the auction period has ended, you will receive a list of contact information for everyone that bought a ticket for your social and you can email the guests specific details of the event. Please be advised that any socials occurring on Harvard Elementary school grounds will need prior approval (PTA can help obtain this). All ticket sales will go towards the Harvard Elementary PTA School Fundraiser. Your costs for hosting the event are tax deductible.
