What’s a Social?
It’s Harvard’s favorite kind of fundraiser — a party with a purpose!
Socials are fun, themed events hosted and sponsored by Harvard families or teachers, with tickets sold during the auction. From backyard BBQs to wine tastings to kid-friendly adventures, Socials bring our community together while raising money for our school.
They often sell out fast — sometimes within minutes — and 100% of the proceeds go directly to Harvard Elementary.

Get Ready… Socials Are Getting a Fresh New Twist for 2025-26!
We’re switching things up this year — and we’re excited to announce two release dates for Social tickets:
Fall/Winter Socials (events happening August–January)
→ Tickets go on sale August 22 at 9:00 AMSpring/Summer Socials (events happening February–Summer 2026)
→ Tickets go on sale January 16, 2026 at 9:00 AM

This Sounds So Fun! What’s Next?
Anyone can host a Social — and we’d love for you to join in!
You get to choose:
The date and location
The guest list type (adults-only, 3rd grade families, kinder crew, etc.)
The number of attendees
And the ticket price
Socials typically take place after the auction and run through the summer and fall. Once you submit your Social idea and it’s approved, we’ll post it on the auction website for ticket sales.
We’ll promote it — but you’re also welcome to spread the word to friends and fellow parents to help it sell out!
After the auction, you’ll receive a list of guests who purchased tickets to your Social, along with their contact info so you can send out event details.
Important: If your Social will take place on Harvard Elementary school grounds, it must be pre-approved. (Don’t worry — the PTA can help with this.)
💡 All ticket proceeds go directly to the Harvard PTA fundraiser, and your hosting expenses are tax-deductible.
